Her approach supports gymnasts in building strength, coordination, body awareness, and injury prevention—helping them enhance performance while maintaining long-term wellness.
Lauren designs engaging choreography that is not only fun and expressive but also offers transferable elements that can enrich floor routines with artistry, fluidity, and musicality.

Reese Tornga

Reese has her master’s in physician assistant studies and I have been working as a certified Physician Assistant for the past 18 years. I currently work at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids with the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant team. I was also a Division 1 college gymnast at Western Michigan University from 2002-2006 (MAC Champs in 2006!!!😊😊) and a gymnastics coach of a variety of levels for almost 30 years now. For the past 3 years or so I’ve been volunteering as the “Friday night conditioning coach” at Flipside. I volunteer my time there because I just LOVE the sport of gymnastics and physical fitness, and since I have three girls on team it’s a great way for me to stay connected with them and their gym friends! I mainly focus on body weight or as I call it “gymnastics conditioning”, specifically High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts. I personally enjoy dumbbell workouts as well, but I didn’t lift a weight until I was in college, so for gymnasts I prefer to focus on body weight exercises.
